I haven’t been able to get out all my thoughts out.
What is the universe? Is there a god? Are there multiple gods? Are we just a tiny raindrop caught in a monstrous storm? Either way, the universe hates us. Every wrong thing that happens in the world is met with yet another even more catastrophic event that highlights America’s failure to be kind, to love, and to be human. The universe hates America, and with good reason.
We can’t seem to get our shit together. From the very beginning, we decided that a two-party system would be the most ideal way to govern a country. Today, our government, in desperate need of reform, relies still on a document conceived over two hundred years ago. The two parties are constantly disagreeing on everything, and refusing any changes, because it doesn’t support the other party’s views.
We allowed a man to gun down twenty toddlers. If their lives mean nothing in a world that desperately needs change, 50 queer adult’s lives constitute for even less.
I am sick and tired of guns. I am sick and tired of conservatives complaining about their right to bear arms. I am sick and tired of signing petitions that go nowhere. I am sick and tired of hearing about this shit. I’m ready for a revolution.
This was not ISIS. This was a hate crime.
My heart feels so heavy.
We need to reverse the universe’s hate for America. Conservatives need to realize that in order for the world to be a better place, CHANGE NEEDS TO HAPPEN.
